- Experience in any modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Golang, Java, Python, Kotlin, etc.)
- Fundamental skills in data structures and algorithms.
- Passion for collaborating with others and tackling hard problems.
- 0-1 year of experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management or a closely related field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with large-scale, distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

As a backend software engineer, you'll work with a team of talented engineers to design and implement the most innovative, scalable, and performant solutions. You will work closely with other Identity teams, architects, product managers, and designers. You'll be responsible for breaking down the work, building, and shipping new features and capabilities in our high scalable, cross-geo distributed system. As we use a "you build it, you run it" (YBIYRI) approach in all cloud platform teams, you'll develop an excellence in operational maturity and help the team define and deliver on reliability, scalability and latency goals.
